Imaging Physics Section

Han Wen, PhD, Principal Investigator

Our current research is focused on using imaging technologies to obtain detailed understanding of how the heart works as an efficient mechanical pump, and how blood flow in the myocardium is organized at the capillary level. We develop non-invasive MRI imaging techniques and other more invasive methods in this pursuit.
