Laboratory of Applied Mass Spectrometry (AMS)
Henry M Fales, PhD, Principal Investigator
The Laboratory specializes in the mass spectrometric analysis of peptides and proteins including all of the
chromatographic and specialized handling associated with that method. Currently, post-translational
modifications such as phosphorylation and glycosylation are a particular effort. Expertise is maintained
in the organic synthesis of reagents useful in characterizing peptides and proteins using mass spectrometry.
